Providing Services for People with Disabilities & Their Families
Children and adults with disabilities and special needs find highest-quality services designed to meet their individual needs when they come to Easter Seals. Teams of therapists, teachers and other professionals help each person overcome obstacles to independence and reach his or her personal goals. Easter Seals also includes families as active members of any therapy program, and offers the support families need.
Adult Day Services Extending Easter Seals medical rehabilitation expertise, Easter Seals adult day services meet daytime needs of adults with disabilities and older adults while promoting their dignity and independence. Easter Seals partners with families to ensure a continuation of their high-standards of care. Licensed occupational, physical and speech/language therapists deliver services in a familiar environment “where it means the most.”

Child Development Centers Meeting a growing need for high-quality child care for more than 20 million young children and their working parents, Easter Seals offers child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Young children are welcomed to a unique environment where children of all abilities learn together.
Home and Community Therapy Individualized occupational, physical, cognitive, and speech/language therapy services are provided for children and adults who attend our centers. In addition, outpatient therapy and therapy in individual’s homes, in schools and other day care facilities is available for individuals ages birth-100+.
Easter Seals provides cutting edge therapy services to persons with disabilities in their natural environments such as their homes, schools or workplace. Licensed occupational, physical and speech/language therapists deliver services in a familiar environment “where it means the most.”
Family Friends Respite Program Family Friends Respite Program is Easter Seals new intergenerational program that matches volunteers 55 years of age and older with a child with a disability in need of a friend. Volunteers spend a few hours per week playing, reading, spending time, and sharing their experience and skills with a child and family in need of extra support.

Easter Seals Provides Services to Navy Families Easter Seals is pleased to announce its new grant from the partnership of the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) and the Navy. This new program allows Easter Seals to provide free respite services to Navy families in the Greater DC Region.
