Easter Seals Home and Community Services are dedicated to helping children, adults and seniors with disabilities live life to the fullest. Easter Seals therapists are focused on providing a complete therapeutic solution for children and adults with disabilities and their families. The Easter Seals Home and Community Services Program is designed to increase independence, function, and productivity of persons with disabilities of all ages through direct service and support/training.

Services for children:
- Individualized and small group occupational, physical, cognitive, and speech/language
therapy services provided to children ages 6 weeks - 5 years attending our DC Child Development Center. (Call 202-387-4434 for more information.)
- Developmental Playgroups for families with children 0-5 who might be at risk of developmental delays,
as well as professional screenings and evaluations to identify potential problems.
Services for adults and seniors:
Easter Seals provides occupational therapy services for adults with disabilities in their homes, adult day centers, and residential communities and other natural environments. Specific services include --
- Environmental assessments
- Functional and safety assessments
- Low vision assessments
- Intervention
- Assistive technology demonstration and evaluation
