What is The Richard & Rae Swirnow Center for Excellence in
Training?
A national resource center providing training opportunities in:

  • Adult and Senior Day Services
  • Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Child Development
  • Home and Community Services
  • Assistive Technology
  • Intergenerational Shared Site Programming
  • Family & Corporate Caregiver Issues

A national resource center offering a formal training curriculum (in 2009) on how to create a shared site intergenerational center a hub for intergenerational resources, training and activities.



 

Who Provides the Training?
Training on specific programs is provided by Easter Seals staff and 
partners.  The intergenerational training curriculum will be taught
by the Easter Seals experienced intergenerational team.  

Who Can Attend a Training Session?
All training opportunities are open to anyone interested in creating 
diverse, innovative, all-inclusive programs, providing meaningful, 
ongoing activities in a natural environment by dedicated staff.
